Connect UGC Table between Agility Instances

Posted by Stuart Manny on May 13, 2015

Hello,

I need to display content from one Agility Instance into a site residing on another. Can this be done?

Thanks,
Stuart

That would work too... only for UGC though.

Actually in the 'arg' it would be "FriendlyNameSiteA".

That makes sense. I am assuming I can also in Site B:

var arg = new RecordSearchArg
            {
                RecordTypeName = "FriendlyNameSiteB",
                Search = (searchQuery),
                PageSize = 10,
                RecordOffset = 0,
                SortedField = "FieldName",
                SortDirection = "ASC",
                State = RecordState.Published
            };

var auth = UGCAPIUtil.GetDataServiceAuthorization("apiKey-SiteA", "apiPassword-SiteA", -1);

records = client.SearchRecords(auth, arg).Records;

Will this work?

Thanks,
Stuart

Hi Stuart,

This can be done in several different ways. One option is to simply provide your own controller in site A that can accept requests from site B and return content to site B for site B to render. Or, you can also use our REST API (new) to get digital content from an Agility instance.
