Before you start: Changing your external storage settings does not migrate existing content. For example, if you have already added content using the S3 bucket that Agility automatically creates when your site is initialized, that content will not be available in your new bucket. Any existing attachments pointing to your old external storage will continue to point to the old location. For migration options, please contact Agility support.

Configuring Your S3 Account

  1. If you do not have an Amazon S3 account or bucket for your site, first create an account, and then create a bucket for your site.
  2. In Agility, navigate to the Settings > External File Storage page.
  3. Ensure that both "Enable external file storage" and "Use my own Amazon S3 Account" are checked.
  4. Enter the name of the bucket you created in the "Amazon S3 Bucket" field.
  5. Enter your account's Access Key and Secret Key in the appropriate fields.
  6. If you have a CloudFront domain configured for your S3 bucket, enter its domain in the "Edge URL" field. Alternatively, you can use a custom domain from which to serve files if you have pointed it to CloudFront using a CNAME.
  7. When you're ready, click the "OK" button to save your changes.
